We liked the location.
We think that the hotel needs an all over renovation inside. The rooms were not very well cleaned, I do not like that the bathroom is dirty, it gives me a very bad impression of the hotel.

The building is fantastic, really lovely and the restaurant is good as well, maybe slightly expensive though.
Very poor service on the hotel side.

We experienced flexible and helpful staff and a good atmosphere. The bar and restaurant were decent and outright good given the hotel price.
Upon arrival, the hotel did not know about our reservation, even though it had been paid upfront. A very unpleasant surprise but which was dealt with as good as possible and in a professional way by the staff.

The attractive price and the location of the hotel.
We had a tripple room, which was a strandard double room with an extra bed for the child, which is quite crowded. The room interior was a bit oldfashioned. The breakfast was ok but the dinner was disappointing and quite expensive (we got the bill only at the chek out, so we couldn't even know how expensive it was). The room was cleaned daily, but they didn't bother to add the shampoo. The staff is nice but can try more. When we asked if some activity is open at the season, we were told that it is without bothering to call and check. It took as about 2 hours to find out it was closed.

I had a lovely stay at The Originals Relais in Dieffenthal. The location was perfect, right in the middle of a winery, and the views from my room were breathtaking. The room itself was spacious and well-decorated, with a modern bathroom and a great shower. Despite a small bed, it was comfortable and I still had a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent, with a unique egg boiling machine and even chocolate cake. The hotel also had a little playground behind it, which was a nice bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel for its beautiful setting, friendly service, and delicious breakfast.

The building was a very attractive one that made us want to step in and stay. The rooms were clean and well kept.
The doors are closed by midnight and if a guest shows up after midnight even with fully pre-paid reservation, there is no way to enter the hotel. We had to spend the night in our car in the car park despite a fully paid reservation since we showed up too late!!! When we did make it to the room at 0630 hrs the next morning, we found the bed to be rather small.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

The hotel was nice and comfy. Perhaps some rooms a little bit outdated, but this was overcomed by cleanliness. The free parking lot and the location is what made up our desicion to stay.
Despite that we had the updated version on our the navigator, it did not recognize the address that is provided by the hotel or maybe by Booked.net (to our surprise neither did google). The very same address with the very same ZIP also applies to the city Colmar (thats what google says). So basically we started our trip to hotel without knowing hotels exact position. As recommendation to the others if your navigator does not recognize the address, use the map on Booked.net site in order to find the hotel.

The location in the middle of the vineyards is fantastic, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is good and the wine list has a good selection of producers from the immediately surrounding area.
